Willen House is located on Bath Street EC1 in the heart of cosmopolitan Islington, and is ideally situated for access to all of City University's buildings. The residence's interior was extensively modernised in 2007, and the unique 'Bauhaus' exterior dates back to the 1940s.
Postgraduate students are offered the best possible conditions for studying and relaxing. Willen House has a hundred and fifty seven self-contained studio study bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathrooms and kitchenettes. The rooms are fully furnished and include a built-in desk.
Living in Willen House means you're within easy walking distance of all the university's teaching facilities and close to many trendy restaurants, cafes and bars. You're also close to the Barbican Centre, one of London's liveliest cultural venues. The Barbican offers galleries, theatre, cinema screens and concert halls.
Whilst you're able to enjoy the culture and atmosphere of Islington, you're only fifteen minutes away by tube from the West End and Covent Garden. Indeed, with the area's excellent transport links the whole of the capital is on your doorstep.
Residential staff and security officers are based on site and an on-going call system operates outside office hours to support students, giving you peace of mind whilst living in the heart of the capital.
